(Below Poverty Line Certificate – Free of Cost)

The Below Poverty Line (BPL) Certificate is issued to economically weaker citizens to avail benefits of government schemes such as ration subsidies, education aid, and housing support. The certificate verifies that the applicant’s family income is below the officially defined poverty line.

  • Aadhar Card of Applicant

  • Ration Card (BPL / APL)

  • Income Certificate or Self-Declaration

  • Residential Proof (Electricity Bill / House Tax Receipt)

  • Passport-size Photograph

🟩 Application Process (अर्ज प्रक्रिया)

  1. Visit the nearest Grampanchayat Office or apply online via the MahaOnline Portal.
  2. Fill out the application form for BPL Certificate.
  3. Attach all required documents.
  4. Submit the form to the concerned Talathi or Panchayat Secretary.
  5. After verification, the certificate will be issued free of cost.
